The RD1 can now stop at any GMPTE bus stop on our route (signal to the driver as he approaches your stops in the normal manner) and you are able to make a contactless or cash payment – matchday prices increase by 50p so it is still cheaper to pre book your ticket.
The service is becoming very popular and last week we had our first away fans use the service on the way back to the Metrolink station in Eccles.
