ST Board Statement – Reserves

Supporters Trust Board Statement

September 2019

As you will be aware Super League and The RFL have announced the mandatory return of Reserve Grade Rugby in 2020 and all Super League clubs have confirmed their participation.

The Club approached the Supporters Trust Board and asked for our help to fundraise for the running of the Reserve Team in order to ensure the burden didn’t completely fall on the limited funds available for the first team and other aspects of running the club. As a ST board we voted in favour of making every effort to raise as much money as possible and those efforts have already started as we feel this will be an important role for us to play. We have some fans already onboard and we will communicate shortly with members and fans in general how you can help us in these fundraising efforts.

As a Supporters Trust we will continue to support other initiatives such as the relaunch of the Junior Red Devils programme, the launch of the Heritage List, recruiting memberships for the Club’s lottery and the ongoing running of the Supporter Buses.
