The voice of Salford Red Devils fans

A huge thank you to our loyal supporters!

The Fan Squad Builder Fund launched in July to support the Salford Red Devils goal of retaining Super league status closed this week raising £12,315 with well over 200 contributors – it demonstrated our fighting spirit and left us with stories of great generosity towards our special Club.

The Supporters Trust would like to thank the many supporters and fan groups who have contributed and promoted this campaign over the past few weeks – it has been great to see the Salford faithful pull together. The Supporters Trust have donated to the fund and have agreed to hold the funds on behalf of supporters ready to contribute towards the recent signings.

The act of “pulling together” was no more evident than when our volunteers grabbed some buckets and raised, by your generosity, over £1,000 at the Leeds match. Our bucket collectors recall a few special donaters:

An 87 year old Gentleman made a beeline for me with a tenner for the squad builder. Wishes everybody well in their efforts supporting his club

I cried when I read the card that came from an elderly lady in Preston. The card enclosing a cheque for £40 and a note which said she’d heard about the Squad Builder but couldn’t get down as her husband was now blind.

And our loyal fans took it in to their own hands online by auctioning some of their “prized possessions”:

You can continue to support the Club in this crucial stage of the season by:
