Jackson and Joey entertain ST Members

Walkden Legion was the venue for last nights Supporters’ Trust Members Event. Our guests for the evening were two of our Antipodean players, Jackson Hastings and Joey Lussick

The evening began with board members Graham and Pete giving the members an update on transport and memberships.

Rob from Devil in the Detail was the host during the Q & A session with Jackson and Joey.

He asked how the guys felt after Sundays loss at Magic Weekend, they were both very disappointed losing to Hull KR again after they beat us in the Challenge Cup. It was a pleasure to listen to two such passionate players, who it obviously means so much to.

One of the members asked Jackson if he still had a wish to play for England/Great Britain,  he said he’d love to, if picked. Let us all hope that will come true for him in the near future.

After a short break Ryan Wilde hosted a quiz, some difficult ‘guess the person images’ followed by some very tricky questions. It was a lot of fun that everyone enjoyed. The winning  team was made up of four members of the Supporters’ Trust board, and it wasn’t even a fix! We finished the evening with a raffle of lots of bottles of spirits, a signed shirt and other donations.

Thank you to Joey, Jackson, Rob and Ryan for coming along and helping out the ST. Thanks also to Dennis Riley for organising last nights event. Lastly, a huge thank you to all our members who came along last night, we really do appreciate it that you support us.
