Motown & Soul Night a roaring success!

Our first event of 2020 to help raise funds for the Reserve Team was a Motown & Soul Night at the Bluebell in Monton.

Ed Chamberlain and Krisnan Inu kindly came down to support the event with the Salford faithful. We also had Harry Warburton, a Reserve Team player interviewed by Steve Bradshaw on the importance of the Reserves and how his progress is going within the team. Shortly after, Danny Barton, Reserve Team coach was interviewed and presented with his #1005 Heritage Certificate. Another former Salford great to collect his #916 Heritage Certificate on the night was Paul Southern presented by Shirley Bradshaw.  A big thank you as always to Louise Woodward Styles and the Heritage Committee for arranging the certificates.

We’d also like to thank Salford Red Devils, The Blue Bell, Cult Barbers, Polish Swinton and Sandford & Ogden Jewellers for the prizes in the raffle that was held.

Lastly, thank you to everybody who attended, we made in the region of £2000 which is outstanding!

Our next fundraiser is a Quiz Night at The Rock in Eccles on the 24th March, it’s £25 for a team of 6 which includes food. Contact us now to buy your tickets.
