2021 Supporters Trust Membership Is Now Open!

Salford RLFC Supporters’ Trust is pleased to announce 2021 Membership is now on sale.

It has been another year of achievement by the club’s playing staff on the field despite the backdrop of the Covid pandemic and we wish to congratulate them.  We also want to continue and grow our support for the club but we cannot do that without a strong membership number. New and existing members for the Supporters Trust are always highly valued, it enables us to continue to support the club with a number of initiatives.

In the last 12 months the Supporters Trust has raised over £20,000 for the Reserves/Youth Pathway.  Special mentions should go to Shirley, Alan and Steve Bradshaw, together with James Hoskison who led the way with many fundraising initiatives.  This would also not have been possible without members and supporters continued support.

We have helped with the Foundation, Graham Morris and others to produce the club’s Heritage List which has been well received by former players, the club and our supporters.  We wish to thank Paul Hulme for maintaining those records going forward and also to all the people who were involved in its production.

Our Board member, Paul Whiteside has written a detailed match summary and report throughout the season for the benefit of all the membership, which we hope proved to be informative and entertaining.

Although very few games were played prior to the Pandemic with subsequent games being played behind closed doors, the Supporters Trust led by Pete Brady established a new Bus Partner at the beginning of the season and the RD1 service continued to thrive and grow.  This is an area that we hope will grow even further and enable us to establish other routes successfully.

All this was achieved with Board members and others giving their time voluntarily. We all want the club to continue to be successful and we believe a strong Supporters Trust with its members voice can only be a positive.

The Supporters Trust runs a Facebook Page for the Reserve Team Fundraiser. All types of club memorabilia is sold via this page. We are always looking for memorabilia to sell, so any supporters wishing to donate Shirts, Programmes, Books, Photos etc, please contact the Trust and we will arrange collection.

Another popular initiative is “Sponsor a Try” and we hope that members and supporters would join this particular initiative in the 2021 season. Alan Bradshaw has worked tirelessly on this and any member wishing to join for the 2021 season we invite them to contact us for further details.
As far as Trust membership is concerned, It costs £10 per year to be a member. This year we are again giving fans the opportunity to donate an additional £5 towards the Reserves Team/Youth Pathway.
