After promotion back to the top flight at the end of 1996, Salford Reds would start 1997 in the Super League.

Head coach Andy Gregory had built a very entertaining and competitive side with a nice blend of youth and experience. The 1997 season review contains all the highs and lows of a hugely successful and special year in our clubs history.

From the excellent start in the league with five straight wins, a thrilling challenge cup run, victories at home and away to Wigan and who could forget a memorable 39-26 win at home to St. Helens.

Salford broke new ground taking part in The World club Challenge. Playing Australian sides North Queensland Cowboys and Adelaide Rams at home and away. All the matches and memories are remembered on this DVD which will take you back to the 90s.
