The role of Society Secretary of the Supporters’ Trust is an appointed voluntary role and as our existing Secretary moves on to pastures new we are looking to bolster our team for the 2019 season.

Who is the Society Secretary?

Every Registered Society must, by law, have a Secretary, so a Supporters’ Trust must have one.

The Society Secretary is an essential part of the team and acts as the organisation’s guardian.

The Secretary has the key role of monitoring the trust’s affairs and ensuring that matters are dealt with in accordance with the Rules, legislation, Supporters Direct policies, good practice and to the benefit of the Members and community.

What are we looking for ?

We’re looking for an existing or retired company secretary or someone with the coordination and organisational skills needed to carry out this important role.
